What is the San Bernardino Mountain CERT Team?
The San Bernardino Mountain Community Emergency Response Team consists of a group of your neighbors living in the Rim of the World Area of the San Bernardino Mountains. We are committed to serving our communities by sharing our knowledge, training, and resources throughout the disaster cycle (preparation, response, recovery, and mitigation). We are here to help communities prepare for and recover from disasters.
Mountain CERT Purpose Statement
The purpose of San Bernardino Mountain CERT is to assist and support first responders in the mountain communities before, during, and after wide-spread or localized disasters, whether natural or manmade. CERT team members are cross trained with FEMA, Red Cross and other disaster response agencies to serve in more diverse roles when a disaster strikes.
