SB Mountain CERT adds Trained Drone Pilots to team.
On July 11th, several members of the Mountain CERT attended Search and Rescue Drone training facilitated by Mountain Drone Search and Rescue and SB Mtn CERT. Six students passed their TRUST Written Test and participated in solo flights under the watchful eyes of Adam Weatherall, the leader of Moutain Drone Search and Rescue as well as a member of Mountain CERT. David Osborn, a member of both organizations assisted as well. Also Assisting was “Deadman” (call sign) from Rim HS Varsity Drone Team, and Joshua from MDSAR. The graduates include:
